Case overview - Contractor

The first thing you will see when you sign into APEX is your case overview. This list is based on the cases you are involved in.

The standard filtering for cases, is showing all open cases that you are involved in. Use the filter options in the top to change what cases you can see.

Sorting, filtering and search

You can use filtering if you want to see only a specific set of cases.
Another option is sorting the list by names, ID-s, and more in the "Sorting" and "Order" options.
If you are looking for something very specific, then searching might be the best option. The search field is its own field that lets you freely search with your own inputs.

All of this can be done from the filterikon_Skjermbilde-2 icon, in the filter-options located over the cases list.

Export

You can find buttons for exporting your cases list at the very bottom of the "more filters" options. You can export your cases list as PDF, CSV or Excel, and will export your current view of cases. That means your filters decide what you can export, and you can get specific exports of exactly what you need.

eksport_case

The chosen export-type will be sent to the registered email on your account. Click the link in the recieved email from APEX, to view and download the file you were sent.

Create new case

You can make an entirely new case by going to the case list, and press the plussikon icon in the down-right corner. A new case will let you define the problem/task that needs to be done, and add it to an exsisting apartment from a chosen project, then assign the case to a contractor for completion. You can mark out the case directly on a floor plan that is uploaded to the apartment, to make it easy to locate for the contractor.

Adding a file to the case is also possible, to make the flow of information fast and easy.

Case overview

A case can be viewed, but here are some other things that can be done with cases:

  • Edit a case.
  • Accept, decline and mark as done.
  • Send new message in case.
  • Archive case.
  • Print case.
  • Send email to a case.

All of these are tools developed over time to make cases flexible, and provide a steady workflow.

Massedit

massedit_button If you have multiple cases that needs to be edited with the same change, then the massedit-tool is your best and fastest bet. With this, you can choose multiple cases and change the same aspect of them all, with just a few clicks. Just mark a few of them, then add another contractor, change dates an send the same message at once. Read more about massedit here.

List, Markings and Calendar

list_markings_calendar_view

When looking at the case list, there will be a few buttons up to the left that lets you view your cases in different formats. List-view is chosen as the standard, but you can change the view to "Markings" or "Calendar" based on how you like to work. Filters apply to these views as well, but the Markings-view only works if you have floor plans uploaded to your apartments. Calendar-view lets you see the time-periods of each planned case.
